The eagerly awaited add-on to Bethesda’s space RPG game, ‘Starfield’, titled ‘Shattered Space’ may soon be on its way, as evidence indicating its imminent release has surfaced.
Reddit user Salmagros discovered an unknown application recently listed among the paid downloadable content (DLC) for Starfield. This unusual application is in addition to the pre-order bonus and premium edition upgrade.
One can track the addition of this obscure add-on to the game’s DLC list via the SteamDB service. Created on February 28, the enigmatic application has retained its anonymity.
Speculation among Starfield fans on Reddit suggests that the undisclosed application is likely to be the ‘Shattered Space’ add-on, presenting the possibility that its reveal may be imminent.
It’s of note that the ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ add-on for Elden Ring was initially shown as an unknown application on SteamDB and announced officially a little over a month later.
Bethesda confirmed in December 2023 that work on ‘Shattered Space’ is still underway, referring to the addition as the “first major add-on” for Starfield. The DLC will add new storyline content, locations, gear, and more.
Starfield was released on PC platforms (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X, S and in Game Pass. Recently, AMD FSR 3 and Intel XeSS were integrated into the game. Furthermore, it is expected to receive city maps, new modes of transportation, and modding support by the end of 2024.
