The Gloomy Slavic Strategy Game Gord Will Receive The Alliance Expansion by the End of February, Featuring a New Story, Monsters, and Biomes

The Poland-based studio Covenant.dev, led by former “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” producer Stan Just, has announced an expansion for its Slavic dark fantasy adventure strategy, Gord. The expansion, titled “The Alliance”, was revealed through a standalone trailer.

“The Alliance” offers players a chance to journey on an “enticing next adventure” in the somber world of Gord. The expansion introduces a new narrative campaign featuring five missions, along with a “Custom Scenarios” mode, that invites players to tackle a series of procedurally generated missions with varying difficulty levels.

The distinguishing features of “The Alliance” include:

  • The option to tame wild animals possessing unique skill sets;
  • The introduction of two new biomes — Desert and Swamp;
  • New enemies and allies with unique goals and motives;
  • The addition of three new monsters.

The release of “The Alliance” is slated for February 28, 2024. The base game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. Just a few days ago, Covenant.dev announced another game — a surreal survival simulator called “To the Star”, which draws inspiration from “Alice in Wonderland”.
