The Space Roguelike Western, Wild Bastards, Lets You Resurrect the Galaxy’s Most Dangerous Criminals – Release Date and Demo Version Available on Steam

Excellent news for gamers! Maximum Entertainment, the publisher, and the developers from Australian-Canadian studio Blue Manchu have announced the release date of their strategic roguelike shooter game, Wild Bastards. This game promises to be a fitting spiritual successor to the previous game from the same developers, Void Bastards.

Behold the Wild Bastards

Wild Bastards tells the thrilling tale of a notorious gang. Once the most lethal in the entire galaxy, its members were systematically exterminated one by one by the puritan mogul, Jebediah Chest. Faced with the reality of their impending demise, two surviving bandits join forces with a mysterious sentient spaceship, the Drifter, on a mission to find and resurrect their fallen comrades on a mythical Ranch among the stars.

Gameplay Dynamics

In Wild Bastards, players must assemble a gang of 13 criminals, each with their unique gameplay style and development, visit hostile planets and engage in fierce gunfights while collecting trophies. The game features captivating tactical battles and the necessity to establish and regulate relationships among gang members.

Be prepared for a galaxy that is not just lawless but dynamic: sectors are procedurally generated, the order of mission selection influences their duration and complexity. Besides, upgrades at the end of missions are random, and planets could even have varying gravitational forces.

Release Details

We’ve learned that Wild Bastards will be available for purchase on September 12 of this year for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and also Nintendo Switch. A free demo version is already accessible on the Valve service. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t support the Russian language.
