PhatWare Upgrades CalliGrapher

The new version features Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish handwriting recognition support for Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs. CalliGrapher is a natural handwriting recognition software that supports all handwriting styles “ print, cursive or mixed.

The product’s three new featured language packs are sold separately, as are the other current language pack offerings. English recognition handwriting support is standard in CalliGrapher. Other languages can be added to CalliGrapher in any combination to accommodate individual user needs

Each CalliGrapher language pack includes a language-specific handwriting recognition engine, an on-screen keyboard and a dictionary. Other new features in CalliGrapher 7.4 include the auto-corrector feature which improves quality of handwriting recognition, user-customizable recognition margins, updated toolbar graphics and more.

In addition to its ability to recognize cursive, print, or mixed handwriting, CalliGrapher offers PenCommander, an easy-to-use PC navigation tool; updated graphics; increased recognition margin widths that provide more space to scroll and use toolbars; ink color selection and customizable ink width and a Quick Correct window for fast correction as the user writes.

Once installed on the Pocket PC, CalliGrapher is easily accessible from within most applications. CalliGrapher seamlessly integrates with PhatPad, an award-winning notes organizing software for Pocket PCs designed by PhatWare Corporation.

List price for CalliGrapher 7.4 is $29.95; however, the product is available as a FREE upgrade for registered users of CalliGrapher 7.x. Language packs are sold separately for $14.95 each.
