BIO-key and HP Awarded Contract at Logan Airport

The contract equips Massachusetts State Police Troopers with PSG’s PocketCop(C) software running on HP IPAQ wireless handheld devices to conduct identification and background checks on passengers and suspects as well as performing vehicle identifications in and around the airport. Bio-key with its PSG subsidiary in conjunction with HP is pleased to provide this innovative technology to the troopers at Logan Airport. Speed and accuracy of suspect information is a foundational weapon for first responders’ fight against terrorism. With PocketCop, the State Troopers at Logan Airport will be able to quickly access critical information which will allow them to do their jobs more efficiently, effectively and, most importantly, more safely, said Mike DePasquale, CEO of BIO-key.
