According to irock!, you get the best performance if you keep the Beamit within 10 feet of the radio that it is transmitting to; clearly they are way understating the performance of this device. In addition, they recommend that you keep the cord that connects the Beamit to your iPAQ straight, positioning the iPAQ as far from the Beamit as possible. Although I did not find that necessary, I did choose a station with no FM broadcast on it. I am sure that makes a difference.

Keeping those tips in mind, this tiny FM transmitter will provide you with an excellent signal to give you high quality sound that will allow you to have a continued great listening experience with your iPAQ. Each FM radio I have that allows for presets now has 88.7 set as a favorite. This device is a keeper!
