Developers of the anticipated action RPG, Last Epoch, released an informative trailer highlighting the game’s key features ahead of its full release.
The promotional video refreshed players’ memory about a profound character development system, crafting, four-player cooperative play, high-level content with dungeons, endless arenas and Monolith of Fate. The film also previewed an Item Factions system, aiming to enhance trading in version 1.0.
Currently, the game includes five classes (Acolyte, Mage, Primalist, Rogue, Sentinel), 15 paths of development (subclasses), and over 120 skill tree options. Players can collect and craft items, altering characteristics and skills along the way.
Last Epoch has been crafted to offer ‘endless’ replay possibilities through its diverse hero development and balanced loot-drop system. The game is equally designed for seasoned genre fans and novices, and it negates gaming advantages through micro-transactions.

Born in 2017 as a project formed from a group of enthusiasts on Reddit, Last Epoch quickly evolved into Eleventh Hour Games. The creators raised over $255,000 on Kickstarter in 2018 and released a closed alpha version for donors in the same year. Come April 2019, the beta version hit Steam, selling over one million copies since it became available.
Valve platform users rated the game very positively, with an 85% rating from 26.5 thousand reviews. The freedom and simplicity of character development especially attracted players, with many admitting that they found the project more engrossing than Diablo IV due to its depth and variety, without complexity.
Players were vocal in their comments about the new trailer on YouTube. One user(kylewyman7217) stated they have already played over 300 hours and eagerly awaits the full release. Version 1.0 of Last Epoch will hit Steam on 21st February. The full release will introduce two new proficiency classes – Warlock and Falconer- new and revised skills, items, affixes, enemies and opponent models, and the above-mentioned trade system.
The action RPG is available in Russia’s Steam segment for 1,475 rubles. The game received text-based Russian localization in September 2023.
