The Fallout Series unveils new trailer and premiere date – all episodes to be released on the same day.

Amazon Studios Sets New Premiere Date and Reveals New Trailer for ‘Fallout’ Series

Amazon Studios recently unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming series ‘Fallout’, inspired by Bethesda Softworks’ post-apocalyptic role-playing games. The studio also announced a new premiere date and a revised release schedule for the series’ episodes.

Originally, the ‘Fallout’ series was scheduled to premiere on April 12, 2024, as announced in October 2022. The plan was to release the first episode exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on the designated day.

However, as disclosed by the new trailer, Amazon Studios has pushed the premiere date forward by a day and will simultaneously release all episodes of ‘Fallout’. The series is now slated to debut on Prime Video on April 11, 2024.

The series’ timeline is set in 2296, or 219 years post-nuclear catastrophe. The show follows Lucy, a survivor from Vault 33; Maximus, a newcomer to the Brotherhood of Steel; and Ghoul, a bounty hunter.

The show’s official description reads: “Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the timid inhabitants of opulent shelters are compelled to return to the irradiated surface abandoned by their ancestors and discover a surprisingly complex, exceedingly odd, and brutal world.”

The three-minute trailer introduces viewers to the main characters and provides glimpses of the central storylines. The soundtrack features ‘The Ink Spots’ tune, familiar to fans from ‘Fallout 3′.

While the trailer delighted franchise fans, they caution that the series’ victory is far from guaranteed. A fan under the handle STICKOMEDIA conveys this sentiment best, pleading: “All I’m going to say… please, for the love of Nuka-Cola, don’t flop.”
