How long is your blue tooth “DELAY”????? Are you all have this problem also?? Maybe we should berage the AUDIOVOX website in a sort of “CLASS ACTION” email campaign till they give us BT software satisfaction! Glenn |

I have the HS810, and love the sound. My wife however says it doesn’t have half the sound quality as my wired Plantronics on the other end. I”m using the BT3500 and don’t have a long wakeup time for the connect. Just the annoying semi-static and lack of sound quality on the device end i’m sure. |

I use the BT800. Delay time is only 4 to 5 seconds. Had the HS810 and hated it. Could only walk 3 ft. from devise and sound quality was not great. BT800 has great sound quality and I haven’t had any problems with the volume like I did with the HS810. |

I use the Motorola HS820 and HS810. I have virtually no delay. Maybe a second or two. However, the sound is not particularly great in noisy environments. I am looking for a headset that can really pump up the volume in most typical environments. __________________ |

I’m a new owner of a w/Camera version [3500 build by default from what I can see] and a BT200 headset. If the call comes in and wakes the PPC out of sleep then it may have a 2-5 second lag between when I hit the button and BT will answer. When I use it in the car, plugged into the cig adapter, and a call comes in there’s almost no delay so it’s definitely the wakeup sequence. There is some more static on the BT than my Nokia 3650, but it’s almost on par with my older SE T68i (i.e. body between phone and ear == static) which is one of the reasons I changed to the 3650 originally. I’m living with the BT on the 6600 for now but if I’m tempted to try the 3900 build to see if it’s better.
[EDIT 4/1/2005]: Ok, so NOW I see the longer delay getting this puppy started. Oh yeah – I’ve had calls go to voicemail before I got the BT headset to pickup when the device was _really_ asleep. Last edited by Spaminator : 04-01-2005 at 05:14 PM. |

I have the 6600WOC and had the HS820 but kept losing the pairing. Got a Jabra BT250… keep losing the pairing with that as well. Ran the new software. Even replaced the phone and “nope.” It comes down to the fact that this high-end phone should never have been shipped with Bluetooth 1.0. Audiovox said their tech are working on another patch. Whatever. If there are any petitions going around. Sign me up. |
