The problem is that when I check the email from my Laptop, the version I see in the screen is the same one of the Ipaq!!! With no enhacements, flash or anything just the simple Ipaq version in my laptop… Can anybody tells me why is this happening or what can I do so that when I sign in from my Laptop the Yahoo that will come up is the “new one” and not the Ipaq simple version? Or better, how can we upgrade the pocket explorer in order to have access to all the new versions of sites on the web? Thanks!!! |

here’s the direct link for just mail, and what Dave gave you is the wap portal for Yahoo which is very useful as well. I personally just have this link bookmarked on my PDA
http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=mail and for my main site I have http://www.google.com/xhtml which makes everything gprs/mobile friendly. cheers |

Thank you both, David and lvlolvlo… the link that Dave gave me is just for the Yahoo! Mobile services but the one wa.oa.yahoo… is like a super simple link to the Yahoo! Mail. It is pretty cool because brings me directly to my inbox in a “friendly” way, without changing to the “supported version” of my Ipaq’s browser. I will bookmark the wap.oa.yahoo and will use it always when going to read my Yahoo! Mail. With it, the NEW version stays in my laptop and PC and that simple one goes in my Ipaq…
Thanks!!! |

I like Yahoo! and use it often. For my iPAQ, I use http://pg1.yahoo.com/raw?
I like the opening screen—a variety of choices to go to . __________________ Jack Cook Senior Editor, Dave’s iPAQ Microsoft MVP-Windows Mobile Devices NEW Dont forget our Podcast hotline telephone number in the US: 1-425-738-9506 available 24 hours a day 7 days a week or leave us a SKYPE Voicemail by clicking here .
